Jaecoo’s flagship luxury crossover is coming soon.

Jaecoo, a famous Chinese automaker and a subsidiary of Chery, has exciting plans for the Russian market in 2024.

This year, the company will introduce three new crossover models that will captivate car lovers.

Among them is the long-awaited J8 flagship crossover, which was originally scheduled for release later this year but was postponed due to growing demand. The J8 will be available in five- and seven-seater versions and will have the same dimensions as the popular Chery Tiggo 9, according to information from Za Rulem magazine.

Under the hood, the J8 will be powered by a powerful 2.0-liter petrol engine that produces an impressive 261 hp.

Buyers will be able to choose between a 7-speed robotic or 8-speed automatic transmission, as well as a front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive system.

While more details about the specifications have not yet been revealed, one thing is for sure — the J8 will deliver an unparalleled driving experience.

In addition to the J8, Jaecoo plans to launch two hybrid models in 2024 aimed at environmentally conscious consumers without sacrificing performance.

One such electric offering will be a hybrid version of the J8 crossover.

This variant will combine the fuel-efficient 2.0-litre petrol engine with an electric motor for a smooth and eco-friendly driving experience.

Additionally, Jaecoo fans can look forward to the introduction of a hybrid version of the J7, another exciting addition to the range.

Hybrid version of the J7, equipped with a 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline engine producing 186 hp. and an impressive torque of 275 Nm, will provide a dynamic and exciting ride.

Paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission, this crossover offers the perfect balance between power and efficiency, making it an attractive choice.

The interior of a mid-size crossover is designed for 5 seats, although seven-seaters are often found in this class.

The seats are upholstered in a combined style, eco-leather and suede. All electronics are managed by the Snapdragon 8155 processor with Wi-Fi and 5G.

On the center console there is a puck-shaped gear selector and touch control for heated seats and windows.

Conveniently, among all the sensory things around, the music volume adjustment is saved in the form of a physical “twist”.

There is also a platform with two divisions for smartphones, as well as an additional niche under the console. On the front panel there are combined screens of a virtual instrument panel and a central media system with a diagonal of 12.3 inches.

The electric seat adjustment levers are located on the door panels. In addition, for the rear passenger, another adjustment block was added on the side of the back of the front passenger seat.

The weather in the car is controlled by dual-zone climate control. The deflectors for the rear passengers are unusually designed; they are the same shape as on the front panel.

Very similar in style to Mercedes, only there they are round, not square. The rear seats are also heated and ventilated in top trim levels.

The luggage compartment holds 200 liters, and with the seat backs folded to the floor, the volume will be up to 2021 liters.
