XPeng G6 2023.

In China, introduced a new electric crossover Xpeng G6.

Xpeng Motors has brought its fifth electric model, the G6 crossover, to the Shanghai Auto Show 2023.

The design of the novelty has much in common with the electric cars of the brand already on the market, although it still could not do without features.

In particular, the DRL LED strip on the “face” of the new Xpeng G6 is no longer solid, but with a gap in the central logo area.

The car also has frameless doors with recessed handles. It has a glass roof, and 18-inch wheels adorn the wheels in the base.

The rear window of the Xpeng G6 SUV is quite tiny, but a lifting spoiler is built into the fifth door. The drag coefficient is declared at the level of 0.248.

The new model is characterized by a minimalist interior design, with horizontal lines predominating in the design of the front panel — this decision makes the interior visually wider.

Of the equipment of the new Hpeng G6, it is worth noting a two-spoke multifunction steering wheel, a virtual tidy with a 10.2-inch screen and a central touchscreen of the multimedia system at 14.96″.

The “brain” of the head unit is the Snapdragon 8155P control chip. The very same multimedia works on the basis of OSes Xmart OS 4.0 and boasts advanced voice control.

The new Xpeng G6 2024 is built on the new SEPA 2.0 platform, which is highly versatile and can be used to build a wide variety of electric cars with wheelbases from 2800 to 3200mm.

The SUV has a new chassis design, in which aluminum subframes were used. There is a double wishbone suspension at the front, and a multi-link at the rear.

Specifically, on the Xpeng G6, conventional springs are used “in a circle”, although the chassis design allows the use of air struts.

And the SUV has an 800-volt electrical system and advanced electronics (an autopilot with lidars), but they are also on electric cars on an old “trolley”.

As for the overall dimensions of the model, the length of the Hpeng G6 is 4,753 mm, the width is 1,920, the height is 1,650, and the wheelbase is 2,890 mm. Thus, we have a Tesla Model Y classmate.

The SUV was presented in two versions. The base version is rear-wheel drive and is equipped with a single 296 hp electric motor.

In turn, there are two engines on the all-wheel drive modification, and in total they give out 487 hp.

It is reported that the twin-engine version accelerates from zero to hundreds in 3.9 seconds, and its speed limit is 202 km / h.

The developers do not advertise the capacity of the traction battery, and the power reserve remains unknown.

In China, the start of sales of Ikspeng Gee 6 is scheduled for the second half of the twenty-third.

The estimated cost is 200-250 thousand yuan (2.36-2.93 million rubles at the current exchange rate).
